I have a complicated but very effective rocket, the problem is the game keeps forcing it's automatic sequence on me, and it's hard to change easily. Basically I can get my rocket which reached 1k in 9 minutes into the upper atomosphere before it fires up.

I built a rocket with all solid boosters that ran out of fuel a split second before each section would have blown up, but it didn't get very far. The acceleration was good though, it would do 300m/s straight from take off.

I got 9 minutes flat, but with a very unstable rocket.

What does your rocket look like? Might have to try a redesign on mine.

Yeh, I did it in about 8 minutes just now, but I want another crack at it. At the moment I'm seeing if I can orbit the planet.

That's the challenge now, get there as fast as possible. I topped out at nearly 3000m/s and I think I was at something like 9000k when I eventually just ended the flight. I might tweak the design to see if I can get more rocket stages to activate when I'm clear of the atmosphere.

I had all the disclaimers going, don't worry though I'm going to town on the next version. One thing most unblocked F1 videos have in common is that they covered the logo, there is one with 40k views out there.

I love how fast it can pick that up, typical FOM rubbish stopping people promoting the sport. Best thing about it is that I can't appeal it and it doesn't even tell me why it's blocked on my channel. I will have to find out how a video with 40k views that I saw with FOM content in it is still on youtube but mine gets blocked within 5 minutes of uploading.

EDIT: I'm rendering off a new version which will hopefully sneak under the radar, I'm assuming it picked up the F1 logo on the video in the processing, and possibly the audio from the F1 cars.

1500k and climbing on my latest attempt, I will post a picture of my rocket once I complete the flight, might be a while since I still have 1700m/s on the clock.

EDIT: Anyone else notice that Bill and Bob (left and right pilots) always seem unhappy?

EDIT EDIT: 2500k now, still at 1400m/s. Thought I would remind people to put SAS systems in key locations and hold F, otherwise it's near impossible to control larger rockets.

I'm struggling really, last time I came 2nd was because I guessed the big Mclaren leap forward so I keep hoping for that because I never win the race to get the best team first.

The thing I like most about that angle is seeing the exit out of the corner and how much the cars gain or lose on each other.

I skipped out on Ferrari this race because they are so bad on the medium tyres, but they didn't use them thanks to the weather. I think perhaps Ferrari is the best bet to gain points on the all Red Bull teams now, judging by their development last season and their strong showing in the last few races.

Red Bull were smart, they let them race but Webber was a bit too far back to attack Vettel when that message was given (remember it's slightly delayed), they just made sure Webber didn't do anything silly. Great race though, great drive by Alonso and Hamilton. I predict another Massa rant about Hamilton though, but in my opinion the contact was pretty much wheel to wheel, and had Massa covered the switchback properly he would have got 4th.
